Love on a long weekend

Dani + Karl - an American and a kiwi who's love story began when they both swiped right and Karl’s first message was “hey how do you know my flatmate Ryan?” and then they watched Finding Dory on their first real date. SWOON! Dani said yes after Karl's 30th birthday on a weekend away at their favourite spot up in Mangawhai. This wedding was super special as guests came from far and wide - Israel & the States - to celebrate their day especially after the non travelling in covid times. So good seeing everyone being together in the same place at the same time. Phoenix retreat is down a long driveway set in the bush, honestly screams back yard wedding vibes surrounded by huge cliffs of native trees set in a valley, canvas tents for guests to stay & a shed that can house an epic party, everything you absolutely need for a fab time.
